Youth Jobs Partnership (YJP)

Nearing the end of high school, many students need guidance as to what lies beyond graduation. This is a time for someone to come alongside and help to determine what the next best steps are: continuing education, entering the workforce, or both.

YJP is a workforce development initiative that provides comprehensive job training, professional development, and mentorship opportunities to students ages 16-22. We transform underresourced participants into a highly-competent workforce with marketable skills and a solid work ethic, and then help them transition to the next appropriate opportunity.

Our program is personalized, relationally driven, and operationally efficient. We provide students with real-life skills that they do not receive in other settings. And because the program is delivered in the CMSD classroom, it complements students' curriculum requirements, reinforcing critical skills and producing deliverables required for academic success and graduation.

We are passionate about helping students reach their full potential. With your partnership, we can continue to provide these life-changing opportunities to young people in our community.
